Opening and closing the rear panel
To open your Fold-a-Cover simply lift the convenient flush mounted paddle style handle on the top edge of the rear panel; this releases the latches and allows you to open the rear panel; in a smooth motion using only one hand. Closing the rear panel is as easy as dropping it shut. Folding and unfolding the cover to the fully open and fully closed positions! Fold the cover the rest of the way to the open position. Snap the docking straps in place to travel with the cover in the open position; simply reverse these steps to close the cover in one smooth continuous motion. When the rear panel reaches the closed position it is latched.

Opening the front panel
One of the unique features of the Fold-a-Cover is the ability to open the front panel of the cover independently. Simply lift the flush mounted paddle style handle on the front panel; this releases the latches and opens the front panel; in a smooth motion using only one hand. This is very convenient to retrieve items from the front of the truck bed without having to opening the entire cover. To close the front panel drop it shut.
Locking the cover
Simply lock your Fold-a-Cover to provide security for your cargo. Your Fold-a-Cover even locks the tailgate if the truck is not equipped with a locking tailgate.
Fifth Wheel Trailer Compatible
The Fold-a-Cover is compatible with most fifth wheel trailer hitches. Simply fold the cover to the fully open position; secure the docking straps and back up to your trailer.
Compare Mounting Hardware
All Fold-a-Cover mounting hardware is specifically designed for each truck bed application. Wind seal rails attach securely to the stake pocket holes. Our patented C-Clamp mounting system not only attaches the cover to the truck bed but it allows the front panel to open independently for easy access to items in the front of the truck bed.
Fold-a-Cover Panels
Panels are made of textured aluminum bonded to an EPS foam core. The panels are assembled on our state of the art hot melt lamination line. (See Video) Specially engineered adhesive and extreme pressure in our Black Brothers® hot press assures strong consistent panels. Fold-a-Cover Hinges! Cargo Management Options
Fold-a-Cover offers an optional patented totally integrated cargo management system called the Personal Caddy. It installs under the front panel directly behind the cab and is accessed by opening the front panel of the cover. The caddy protects tools, sporting goods, camping equipment, groceries or anything that needs controlled storage or transportation. An optional sliding tray keeps small items in place and within easy reach. Personal Caddy is available for many G4-ELITE applications.
